Using Photoshop CS2, Taking another image and getting rid of the white.?

Published by on August 25, 2009

I need to put a graphic I made which looks like a rubber stamp with grunge brush all over it. Onto my original image, I need to get the white out so I can lay it over the image I need it on.

If I just cut it out and paste it on my new image the white is blocking the image… You know what I am saying?

so
1)you need to open your image on a new layer
2)you need to use the wand or one of the lassos to crop the white background
3)you need to put your image under the others images layer
you understand??
hope this helps
